Scale.jobs review (2026): is the human job application service legit?
Updated
We make Apiva. Read this knowing that.
Everything about Scale.jobs below comes from their homepage, their pricing page, their terms and their Trustpilot profile, checked on 17 October 2026. Prices change, so click through before you spend money on either of us.
Is Scale.jobs legit?
Yes. Scale.jobs is a trading name of Hire Science Inc., according to its terms, and the site lists an address in Woodstock, Georgia. Customers rate it well. On 17 October 2026 Trustpilot showed 4.5 out of 5 from 250 reviews, labelled Excellent, on a claimed profile.
One small oddity. The homepage hero says "3500+ Job Seekers Helped", while other parts of the same page say 1500+. We'd go by the smaller number until they settle it.
Refunds work like this, per their terms. If you cancel, you get back the plan price minus the share you've used, counted in applications sent, and minus a one-time $100 fee. Résumé reviews and LinkedIn makeovers aren't refundable once started.
The short version
Scale.jobs sells packs of applications done by human assistants. You pay for the pack up front, and each application comes back with a screenshot as proof.
Apiva is software. You approve each job, our AI fills in the application with your résumé tailored to that role, and submits it. Paid plans charge a monthly fee up front, and a credit is only used once the submission is confirmed. If an attempt stops, it's marked "Will be retried" and no credit is used. 25 applications a month are free, no card.
So the big difference is how you pay. Their entry pack is $199, paid before anything happens. Ours starts at $0, then $19 a month, and you can stop the month you're hired. For most people that's an easier way to start. It's cheaper too if you'd use the whole allowance: $199 buys 250 applications from their Basic pack, while $19 a month covers up to 200 on our Starter plan.
What Scale.jobs actually is
People apply for you. That's the product, and their homepage is proud of it. The main headline is "Land Jobs Faster and Easier with Human Assistants", and the same page calls AI-filled applications "sloppy".
According to the homepage, your assistant applies to jobs "in 12-24 hours" and sends "a proof screenshot for every single application". There's a dedicated team chat for keeping in touch.
A human assistant isn't limited to sites that let automation in. That's a real strength, and we won't pretend otherwise.
What you get with Apiva
You approve jobs from a feed built from a corpus of 50,000+ US company career pages, rescanned on a daily cycle, or paste the link to any US job you found yourself. Nothing is sent that you didn't approve.
Our AI fills in the application and rewrites your résumé for that role from your real experience. You can review what changed before it goes.
Some questions only you can answer, and some forms want a document we don't have. Then the app asks you, marked "Needs your answer" or "Needs a document". Reply, and it carries on from there.
When a submission is confirmed, the confirmation is saved against it and you can open it any time.
Scale.jobs pricing (checked October 2026)
From their pricing page on 17 October 2026. Each pack is a one-time payment, with Klarna instalments offered:
| Pack | Price | Applications |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $199 | 250 |
| Standard | $299 | 500 |
| Best Value | $399 | 1,000 |
| Ultimate Bundle | $1,099 | 1,100, with add-ons included |
Add-ons like job finding and AI custom résumés run $99 to $199 each depending on the pack, and expert résumé writing and a LinkedIn makeover are $199 each.
The pricing page also says "70% of our customers receive a refund", and puts that down to people landing a job before their credits run out. We can't check that figure. What we can say is that a refund there is worked out from applications sent, with $100 kept back.
Apiva pricing
| Plan | Price | Applications a month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, no card | 25 |
| Starter | $19 / month | up to 200 |
| Pro | $39 / month | up to 600 |
| Scale | $99 / month | up to 1,500 |
Monthly fee up front; a credit is used only on a confirmed submission. A held credit is released if you skip the job before it's sent. Every plan is the full product, and plans differ only by volume. Quarterly prices of $49, $79 and $239 are published, but quarterly billing isn't open yet. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Cancel any time and you keep the plan to the end of the period you paid for, though a part-used month isn't refunded. Details on the pricing page.
At full use, a Starter month comes to as little as about 10 cents for each confirmed application. That's a software price for a different service from theirs, so read it as a guide to our cost, not a head-to-head.

When Scale.jobs is the better pick
You want people doing it. Some job seekers simply trust a person more on a tricky form. If that's you, this is what they sell.
You want a lot this week. 1,000 applications for $399, in one go, is a lot of reach at once.
You want the extras in one place. Résumé writing and a LinkedIn makeover are on the same menu.
When Apiva is the better pick
You can start for nothing. No pack, no card, and 25 applications a month submitted for you.
You aren't locked into a big payment. $19 a month, cancel the month you land something, and nothing to claw back through a refund process.
You stay in charge of every job. Nothing is applied to until you approve it, and the app only asks you for what only you can give.
For sponsorship and disability questions, the answer comes straight from your profile. Leave one blank there and it either picks the decline option on the form or checks with you first.
Bottom line
If you want human assistants on your applications and you're fine paying $199 or more before the first one goes, Scale.jobs is a real company with good reviews.
If you'd rather start free and pay monthly for software you control, try Apiva on 25 free applications a month, no card.
Already bought a pack? Keep a running count of the proof screenshots against the applications they report. Any refund is worked out from applications sent, so that number is worth having right.
