Rezi review (2026): is the Rezi AI resume builder worth it?

Updated

We make Apiva. Read this knowing that.

Everything about Rezi here comes from their pricing page, their Chrome Web Store listing and their Trustpilot profile, read on 17 October 2026. For most of what Rezi does, we aren't a substitute at all, so this is a friendly one. Check both before you spend money.

Is Rezi legit?

Yes. Rezi is made by Rezi LLC, which is the publisher named on its Chrome Web Store page and the seller on its App Store listing. Reviews are strong. On 17 October 2026 Trustpilot rated it 4.6 out of 5 from 273 reviews, labelled Excellent, on a profile claimed since July 2020. Their own pricing page quotes 4.7 from 250, which is close enough to be fair.

The refund promise is in the title of their pricing page: "All Plans Include A 30-Day Money Back Guarantee". That covers both paid plans, Pro and Lifetime.

The short version

Rezi builds the résumé. It's a careful tool, with scoring and keyword targeting, and a lifetime plan you pay for once. Its Chrome extension fills in application forms from your Rezi profile. Then, in the listing's own words, "You just hit submit."

Apiva sends the application. You approve a job, and our AI fills in the form with your résumé tailored to that role and submits it. Paid plans charge a monthly fee up front, and a credit is used only once the submission is confirmed. 25 applications a month are free, no card.

If you're sending applications and hearing nothing, the résumé may be the problem, and Rezi is the better buy. But if the résumé is fine and it's the portals you dread, Apiva takes those off your hands, and that's the better trade for anyone short on evenings.

What Rezi does well

The résumé, start to finish. Free gets you one résumé, one AI interview and three PDF downloads. Pro at $29 a month lifts the limits and adds the full Rezi Score and keyword targeting. There's an Enterprise plan at $99 a month per 200 users for universities and career services.

Lifetime is the plan we'd look at first. $149 once, no subscription, with everything in Pro. Almost everything in this category charges you every month, so a one-off price is a genuinely different offer. If you expect to job hunt again in a few years, it's good value.

We've written about the document side too, in how to write a tech résumé that actually gets found and résumé power verbs.

Where Rezi stops

The Rezi extension says it will "Auto-fill job applications with your Rezi profile and resume." The next line is "You just hit submit."

That's honest, and it's a real time saver on the typing. The click that sends the application is still yours, on every one. So is checking the answers it filled, and spotting the form that errored after you'd moved on.

On 17 October 2026 the extension had 4.3 out of 5 from 18 ratings and 3,000 users, so there isn't much to judge it on yet.

What you get with Apiva

You approve jobs from a feed built from a corpus of 50,000+ US company career pages, rescanned on a daily cycle. Found one somewhere else? Paste the link. Nothing is sent without your approval.

Our AI fills in the application and rewrites your résumé for that role from your real experience. You can check what changed before it goes.

If a form asks something only you can answer, the app shows "Needs your answer". Reply, and it carries on from there. If an attempt stops for another reason, it's marked "Will be retried" and no credit is used.

There's a saved confirmation for every application that goes through.

We don't sell résumés as a product on their own. The tailoring is there because every application needs a document attached.

Rezi pricing (checked October 2026)

From their pricing page on 17 October 2026:

Free $0 1 résumé, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads
Pro $29 / month Unlimited résumés, interviews and downloads, Rezi Score, keyword targeting
Lifetime $149 once Pro features, no recurring charge
Enterprise $99 / month per 200 users Pro plus admin tools and SSO, sold through a demo

Apiva pricing

Plan Price Applications a month
Free $0, no card 25
Starter $19 / month up to 200
Pro $39 / month up to 600
Scale $99 / month up to 1,500

Monthly fee up front; a credit is used only on a confirmed submission. Every plan is the full product, and the tiers differ only by volume. Quarterly prices of $49, $79 and $239 are published, and quarterly billing isn't open yet. Credits reset monthly and don't roll over. You can cancel any time and keep the plan until the period ends, but a part-used month isn't refunded. Details are on our pricing page.

Use all 200 Starter credits and each confirmed application costs you around 10 cents. Rezi's $149 buys a document you keep, so the two don't divide into the same unit.

When Rezi is the better pick

The document is your bottleneck. It's their whole business and they're better at it than we are.

You hate subscriptions. $149 once is a structure we don't offer.

You want the safety net of a refund. Thirty days, money back, on both paid plans.

You need one résumé tonight. The free plan is enough to finish one and download it.

When Apiva is the better pick

The forms are what's stopping you. Their extension fills the fields, and then the click is still yours, on every single one. Ours sends it after you approve.

You'd like a record. Each confirmed application has a saved confirmation. A résumé tool can't see what happened after you downloaded the PDF, and it doesn't pretend to.

Personal questions stay yours. Your sponsorship needs and any disability disclosure are filled in from what you've told us. When you haven't told us, the form's decline option is used or you get asked.

Plenty of people should use both. A better résumé makes every application we send for you better too.

Bottom line

If your applications aren't landing interviews and you suspect the document, try Rezi. The reviews hold up, and 30 days to change your mind is generous.

If the document is fine and actually submitting is the grind, try Apiva on 25 free applications a month, no card.

Weighing Pro against Lifetime? $149 is about five months of Pro at $29. If you think your search will run longer than that, or you'll be back in a couple of years, Lifetime is the cheaper way in, and the 30-day guarantee covers it too.
